Mario Vasquez s'apprête à sortir un album pour cet été sur le label J Records. Il n'est autre qu'un des perdants de l'émission American Idol - l'équivalent américain de La Nouvelle Star en France.

Bien qu'il soit un débutant et sorte d'une émission de télé-réalité, de nombreux artistes ont accepté de collaborer avec lui pour son prochain opus. En effet, Ne-Yo sera de la partie en tant que compositeur et à la production on pourra retrouver Scott Storch, Luny Tunes (Don Omar), Soulshock and Karlin (Usher), Underdogs (Fantasia) et Lester Mendez (Shakira).

Mario Vasquez a également réussi à convaincre Alicia Keys et Kerry « Krucial » Brothers de s'associer à son projet. « Ca se profile plutôt bien », s'est exprimé le jeune chanteur. « Nous sommes justement en train de finir l'album qui sera probablement terminé fin mars. »

Mario Vasquez est un chanteur R&B né le 15 juin 1977. D'origine portoricaine, le jeune homme se fait connaître en participant à l'émission American Idol, début 2005. Il quitte le programme alors qu'il arrive pratiquement en final pour être libre contractuellement et signer dans une maison de disques. En 2006, le chanteur livre son premier single, Gallery, écrit par Ne-Yo, tiré de son premier album éponyme. Le morceau est disponible en France à partir de juin 2007.

Son premiere album éponyme ( il porte son propre nom soit mario vasquez)
est sorti en septembre 2006 aux states et sa fait un vrai carton la sortie en france est prevue pour cet été A voir !!!!!!!!!
